Daddy Daycare — Venue Hire

1. Booking & Confirmation

  • All venue hire bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only once you receive a written confirmation from Daddy Daycare.
  • A booking is not guaranteed until confirmed in writing by Daddy Daycare.
  • The venue may only be used for the purpose stated at the time of booking.
  • Maximum capacity must not be exceeded at any time.

2. Payment

  • Full payment is required prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Daddy Daycare reserves the right to cancel an unconfirmed booking where payment has not been received.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

3. Venue Use

  • The hirer is responsible for the behaviour of all guests during the hire period.
  • Any damage caused to the venue, equipment, or property will be charged to the hirer.
  • The venue must be vacated by the agreed end time. Additional charges may apply for overtime.
  • No alterations, drilling, or permanent fixtures may be installed.
  • Excessive noise that disturbs neighbouring properties is not permitted.
  • Daddy Daycare staff reserve the right to end an event early if these conditions are not met.

4. Supervision & Safety

  • Adult supervision of children is the responsibility of the hirer at all times.
  • Daddy Daycare accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage during the hire period.
  • Emergency exits must remain clear and accessible at all times.
  • The hirer must comply with all fire safety and health regulations.

5. Catering & Alcohol

  • Hirers may bring their own catering unless otherwise specified in the package.
  • The venue must be left clean and tidy. Daddy Daycare reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee.
  • Alcohol is permitted for adult events only. The hirer is responsible for responsible service.

Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation fees apply based on notice given before the event date:

Same day cancellation
100% of booking fee charged
3 days or less notice
50% of booking fee charged
7 days or more notice
No charge — full refund

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@daddydaycare.co.za. The date of written notice determines the applicable cancellation fee.
